Dublin Trilogy Books in Order, by Caimh McDonnell

The Dublin Trilogy series by Caimh McDonnell is a darkly humorous crime fiction series set in Dublin, Ireland. The series primarily follows the misadventures of Paul Mulchrone, a somewhat hapless and reluctant detective, along with his eccentric and often chaotic friends.

It starts when Paul Mulchrone, an unemployed slacker, becomes inadvertently involved in a murder investigation. Along the way, he teams up with an ex-nun named Brigit Conroy and a disgraced policeman named Bunny McGarry to solve the case.

There are two spin-off series. The first is titled McGarry Stateside and is about Bunny’s misadventures in America. The second is MCM Investigations about Brigit and Paul. The two are set after the Last Orders.
